Volunteers Required

 

Our Museum is volunteer operated and we are looking for people with spare time to help towards a good cause.

The Visitor roles we are looking to attract people to help us with are:

Aircraft Guardians – a number of aircraft are open to the public. For Health and Safety and security reasons we need individuals to monitor the visitors, provide basic information on the aircraft and site.
Stewards – We need people to assist the public find their way around the site, and provide information on the exhibits.
Guides - A group of slightly more knowledgeable people to conduct tours of the Museum, providing an insight into the exhibits, and the history of de Havilland and Salisbury Hall.

Café Staff - with the opening in the near future of a refreshment facility we are in need of people to provide basic refreshments, such as tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks. Eventually we would like to be able to provide sandwiches, cakes etc. initially pre-packaged, but later prepared on-site.

Aircraft Restoration and Site Upkeep

We always have room for helpers to assist in the general maintenance of the site, and in the restoration and conservation of aircraft.
